for K-12 Teachers and Students.
Tucson, Arizona, February 20-21, 2005

This NCRR-sponsored K-12 program is aimed at high school teachers and students. It is intended to nurture inquiry, inculcate questioning habits of mind, and teach research skills. Over two decades, with Dr. Witte’s enthusiastic direction, it has had a proven record of encouraging entry of diverse students into health and science careers, thus priming the biomedical research pipeline. APOR members interested in K-12, college, and medical student education will find this meeting of great value. Contact Marlys H. Witte, MD, Professor of Surgery, University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, AZ 85724-5063. Telephone: (520) 626-6118.
