James G, Krueger, MD, PhD is Head of
the Laboratory for Investigative Dermatology at the Rockefeller University. He
also serves as a Physician, Medical Director, and Program Director of the
General Clinical Research Center at the Rockefeller University Hospital in New
York City.
Dr. Krueger earned his bachelor's
degree from Princeton University and a PhD in virology and cell biology from
the Rockefeller University. He received an MD from Cornell University Medical
College, where he also completed an internship in internal medicine and
residency in dermatology. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
He has received many awards and honors.
Notably, he was the first recipient of the Thomas B. Fitzpatrick Research Award
and the American Skin Association's Distinguished Achievement and Psoriasis
Research Achievement Awards. Dr. Krueger is a member of several medical
associations and societies, including the American Society for Clinical
Investigation and the Association of American Physicians. Dr. Krueger is a
frequently invited lecturer and has published numerous articles and book
chapters on the pathogenesis of, and novel therapies for psoriasis.
