Four levels of APOR membership are currently available. Details are provided below:

• Fellow/Trainee and Student Membership: Introductory rate of $50 until completion of current training program.
   
• Active Member:
   -- $200 Annual Dues: Physicians or individuals holding other doctoral level degrees, who have published peer-reviewed work relating to patient-oriented research.
   -- $100 Annual Dues: Junior faculty for the first 5 years after first faculty appointment or first position after training.
   
• Emeritus Member: Emeritus membership may be offered, within the discretion of the Board of Directors, to individuals who have completed outstanding careers as a patient-oriented scientist. Yearly membership fee is $50 USD.
   
• Lifetime Member: Have your name listed permanently on the APOR web site by becoming a lifetime member. Lifetime membership is an expression of support for patient-oriented research by those for whom our discipline is an elemental priority. Two levels of lifetime memberships are available:

  • $3,000 Gold
  • $5,000 Platinum
